I haven't updated the site in a while because I haven't released a record since last year.
I want you to know that everything is fine and that I've been very busy in the studio producing and/or mixing these records:
Atlas Sound "Parallax"
Matthew Dear "Headcage EP"
Bowerbirds "The Clearing"
Exitmusic LP tba
Dirty Projectors with Bjork "Mount Wittenberg Orca"
Lia Ices "Grown Unknown"
Dom "Family of Love"
1,2,3 "New Heaven"
Sondre Lerche "Sondre Lerche"

Rare Book Room at SXSW 2010!
That's right, Rare Book Room is walking the talk in Austin this year. TALK NORMAL has a rally of gigs deep in the heart of, in advance of a run around the country with Xiu Xiu and Tune-Yards (who have not commandeered our sHiFt key just yet) and, coming up quick after that, their first-ever trip to Europe and the UK. Awright awright. You can glaze your eyes through all of Talk Normal's upcoming dates here, and we've pulled out their Austinisms below, as well as jpeggios for Other Music's annual two-day affair at the French Legation Museum (Talk Normal has a sweet time-slot on Friday afternoon) and the awesome Ecstatic Peace showcase (Talk Normal are special guests and *again* get a plum set time Friday night, just before the goddess Viv Albertine, guitarist for the great early Slits lineup). Dates and times remain subject to wild eruptions of chaos; be flexible and thine reward shall be wealth beyond riches.

2009
It's over. phew.
We don't need another just like it for a while, but it wasn't all bad: I want to mention a few very interesting records I had a chance to work on at the studio, but not for RBR Records:
